My English teacher is a pansy. No other word can describe her. She reminds me of my grade 7 teacher and is visibly afraid of kids and will do nothing to discipline us. She is so dull and has such a high pitched voice it makes me want to jump out a window. Oh wait, my school has no windows.
My science teacher seems pretty cool, but there’s this girl who looks like a boy in my class. I actually thought that she was a boy. I didn’t want to sit near him/her so I sat in another desk. The girl/boy sees me and automatically moves beside me WITHOUT ASKING. I do not know this person. I do not care to.

Mum’s friend is getting married on the 16th of September and Mum wants to go up to her house (about an hour and a half away) before the big day for further planning. Alas, she is planning on going next weekend. Damn it. At least I get to miss a day of school on the 15th because we’re going up the day before to set things up.
Mum is going to be a bridesmaid and Ben is going to be the bartender. I am absolutely nothing. I do not know if I should be happy or insulted.
I get to wear my grad dress again, and I’m pretty excited because I haven’t had an opportunity to dress up in ages.

Raleigh was great fun, and I really miss the trip. Hard to believe a couple weeks ago we were still travelling through the mountains en route to North Carolina. The scenes that we saw, the people that we met. It was really an incredible trip, and although Ben says that he won’t do another road trip in a really long time, Mum and I both can’t wait to go back through the mountains.
