Seamus the wise

The fact that Seamus can be seen as a mentor and role model to a young puppy is rather disconcerting. My friend recently acquired an Australian Shepherd puppy and wished to socialize him with friendly older dogs. I decided against bringing The Clever One, as she is now in her golden years and would probably be less than enthused about the asperity of being in the presence of a young puppy. Seamus possesses no such convictions.

In fact, I believe that Seamus greatly enjoyed having a fresh young puppy to mold into his own. He was probably sharing his pearls of wisdom, such as shedding on black clothes is much more satisfying, and when in doubt, pee on ANYTHING.

Meet Rocky, a pleasant 10 week old Aussie.

Seamus was initially unsure of what to make of this squirmy bundle of fur.

Seamus became quite attached to him rather quickly.

It wasn’t long before a third dog was added to the mix.

Seamus soon realized that chubby dogs lack an athletic ability.

He met new friends.

He constantly annoyed a much larger dog.

But it wasn’t long until she snapped.

Seamus’ alarmed expression post-snap.

OH SHIT.

Rocky was next to learn not to vex Jessie.

TURBO DOG.

Seamus soon morphed into a mother hen.

What an endearing ball of fluff.

Oh Max…

What a crazy mofo.

Snow snow snow

I am beginning to grow weary of the constant snowfall.

And so is my most loyal canine.

I cannot say for sure what exactly this is.

My two little shits contemplating world domination.

For my dear friend Yoon.

I love…

Border Collies. Especially this one.

The Clever One looks less than enthralled. The Dense One looks near microscopic.
The Clever One does something… dense?

Until I receive my new camera (which will make its grand arrival before long), you will be forced to endure less than mediocre pictures.

Sally watches as Seamus does something inane. The Princess and the Potbelly.
The Dense One finds snow and his sister far too amusing.
Sally cannot possibly fathom the reason Seamus was sprung upon her.
Snow is so mundane.

I just broke another wire in my mouth. These braces are a bitch on more levels than one. Not only do they limit the foods I consume, the fact that I repeatedly break them and pop out brackets subsequently leads to more orthodontist appointments. The fact that the orthodontic staff now know me on a first name basis is rather disconcerting. They are growing petulant with my frequent visits, and I have to endure the constant lectures about eating hard foods.

I digress.
